4 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
Torn bread
2 cups berries
Mix eggs, milk vanilla and sugar. Layer torn bread and berries in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour over eggs and milk mixture and let sit for several hours or overnight. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. Drizzle with a lemon glaze, or whipped cream or ice cream.
I have just recently started making bread puddings (pumpkin bread pudding last fall was my 1st) and I love them. I find them similar to french toast, only way better. We've eaten bread pudding for breakfast and for dessert. I've got some bread I want to use to make some more bread pudding, but I think I will try raspberries this time.
